Your Journey, Our Guidance
West London Speakers Club extends a "Mentoring Initiative" designed to support newcomers and assist seasoned members in their growth. Upon club enrolment, you will be paired with a mentor who will guide you through your initial steps. This includes acquiring proficiency in booking roles via the Toastermasters meeting management system and acquainting yourself with the various speaking roles within the club. Your mentor will be there to assist you in embracing speaking roles and to help you strategize your prepared speeches. If you so desire, you can seek guidance from either your mentor or another experienced club member to practice your roles or speeches before delivering them during club meetings. Oversight of the mentoring program falls under the purview of the club's mentoring officer, a dedicated member of the Club Committee. |
