LEARNING THROUGH FEEDBACK
Evolving Excellence with Every Feedback
All speaking and leadership roles undergo evaluation as part of the meeting program structure, except for the General Evaluator role, which occurs at the end. We believe that receiving feedback and continuous practice are essential for learning and improvement. For prepared speeches and their associated projects, members receive formal feedback from a speech evaluator assigned in the meeting program. Audience members are encouraged to provide feedback by completing feedback slips to give directly to the speaker. This feedback helps members understand their strengths and areas for improvement. The speech evaluator submits a written feedback report to the speaker, and members can also seek additional feedback from mentors or fellow club members. To add some fun to our meetings, audience members can vote for the best speakers in each category, and ribbons are awarded to the winners at the meeting's close. When a member completes a leadership project during a meeting, they receive written feedback from an assigned club member, Club members can also request feedback from peers or mentors to support their performance in leadership roles or projects that extend beyond a single club meeting. |
